How registration works
The links above will take you to our online registration system – if you have a Sports Connect account from past registrations with NSC, you can log in and the NSC registration will show up as an available program for your child(ren). If you do not yet have an account, the system will walk you through creating one and adding your child(ren). The registration page for NSC includes information required by Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association (MYSA), Roots Soccer League, and NSC.
Please note the following:
Please note the following:
- U9-U14 Travel Soccer players new to NSC will need to upload a headshot photo and proof of age (birth certificate/passport) during the registration process
- MYSA requires NSC to include certain questions in its registration. This means you will be asked about "parent 1" role, "parent 1" home phone, and several questions about "parent 2". Please complete all questions related to “parent 1” and “parent 2” as required (which are denoted by an asterisk (*).
- You do not need to upload anything to the "SafeSport 17 PG Consent OR Older ONLY" field.
- When your online registration is complete, you will get a confirmation email. Please note this email, and future emails regarding your player, may come from "Blue Sombrero", "Sports Connect", or "Stack Sports". These three entities are part of a single processing system, so please be sure to check your spam filter.
Financial Assistance
|
NSC strongly believes that ability to play should not be based on ability to pay. Financial assistance is available for all programs and uniforms. Parents and guardians are encouraged to inquire about financial assistance. Please contact the registrar ([email protected]) for more information.

What age group can I register my player for?
|
Roots League teams select players based on an August 1 to July 31st bracket (see below). Exceptions may be made for players born Feb 1-July 31 in order to allow them to play "down" an age with others from their grade in school.
|
Exceptions may be made using waivers for older 8th graders who no longer have a team to play with, or in some cases when players born between Feb 1 - July 31 would benefit from playing with their grade level (if it does not align with their age bracket). Players should still plan on attending the appropriate evaluations and then contacting us if they believe a waiver should be considered. Final team placement will always be made by the Coaching Director, and will need to consider skill development and impacts on other team rosters as well.
Unsure whether your 7 year old should join Pre-Travel, u7 Travel, or u8 Travel?
|
Generally speaking, if your child has never played soccer before or may not be ready for competitive games, then Pre-Travel is probably best. If your child is already familiar with soccer, or has attended our Pre-Travel program before, then they are probably ready for Travel in our u7 or u8 groups!
